Dr. yasmin jomaa
Dr. Yasmin Jomaa was born and raised in Calgary, AB. She attended the University of Calgary for her undergraduate education in which she earned a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Biology. She went to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science and Doctor of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University on the Dean's list.
During her schooling in Florida, she completed rotations at various clinics training in Primary Care, Ocular Disease, Cornea, Pediatrics and Binocular Vision. Her external rotations included working at the Fort Lauderdale Eye Institute and South Florida Laser Eye Center with a focus in treatment and management of ocular disease.
Dr. Jomaa enjoys playing and watching hockey, travelling, snowboarding and reading. She is proud to be a part of the Westbrook Vision Clinic Team and strives to provide excellence in eye care to all her patients!
Dr. Aminder Gill
I completed my Optometry degree in Boston and then moved back home to Toronto where I began my career as an Optometrist. In an effort to get away from the big city, I moved to Calgary in 2015 and have loved it here ever since. I enjoy getting to know my patients, learning about your specific visual needs and then tailoring my exam to best accommodate your expectations. I like to think that I am relaxed and approachable, so feel free to call/email or drop-in and I would be happy to meet you!
DR. Adam Rahemtulla
I go by Dr. Adam for simplicity sake. I completed my Optometry degree in Boston in 2015 and then moved back to Alberta. I have a passion for managing ocular disease and place the health of the eye at the utmost importance in an eye examination. A fun fact is Dr. Gill and I actually went to school together! I have an avid interest in sports and music and I actually used to DJ while I was in optometry school! I look forward to each interaction with my patients and hope to build a family atmosphere at Westbrook Vision Clinic.
